Itinerary
On your landing in Cochin meet our driver who will be there to pick you up and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Guruvayur. The day you can visit Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple. then visit Punnathur Kotta: The Elephant Camp is located in Punnathur Kotta, at a distance of 3 km from the Guruvayur Temple. This Elephant Camp houses 58 elephants in 11.5 acres of land and is home to the largest number of captive elephants. Overnight stay at Guruvayur.
After breakfast, drive to Alleppy. Upon arriving in Alleppey, you'll board a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat. As you settle into your cabin, you'll be surrounded by the serene beauty of the backwaters. You'll spend the afternoon cruising through the lakes, taking in picturesque views of paddy fields, coconut groves, and charming villages. Lunch will be served on board, featuring local flavours. In the evening, you'll be treated to a mesmerizing sunset over the waters, followed by a delicious dinner with traditional Kerala dishes. Your night will be spent on the tranquil houseboat.
After breakfast from the houseboat, Check out at 9 am and proceed to Munnar, the green Paradise of Kerala with unending extends of Tea ranches, estates and an assortment of greenery and fauna. You will also come across the serene cascades called Cheeyappara and Valara. Check in to your resort and have an evening of relaxation/you can go to visit Munnar town
Today after breakfast, go for a tour at Mattupetty Dam; a lovely spot in Munnar, Kundala Lake-a characteristic lake that offers boating opportunities and gives you a great view of Western Ghats just as the woodland encompassed. Likewise, visit Eco Point and tea ranches. Afternoon you visit Eravikulam National Park; where the jeopardizing Nilgiris Tahr lives. Later drive back to your hotel.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Thekkady, another exotic hill station in Kerala, which has a richness of wild forests and spices. After reach in Thekkady, go for a Periyar Boat ride to enjoy the deep forest and spot animals. After the boat cruise, go for cultural shows Llike Kathakali & Kalarippayattu and shopping at spice markets (Optional activities). Back to the hotel and overnight stay.
After breakfast, make your way to Madurai. Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, an iconic religious site in Madurai. This sprawling temple complex is renowned for its intricate architecture, with towering gopurams (gateway towers) adorned with colourful sculptures. Explore the various shrines and the peaceful pond within the temple. Drive to hotel for night stay
After breakfast drive to Rameshwaram. Ramanathaswamy Temple: This magnificent temple is one of the holiest sites for Hindus. It's known for its stunning architecture and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple's outer corridors are renowned for their intricate carved pillars, and it's a place of great religious significance. After that drive to Kothandaramar temple and Dhaniskodi. Drive back to the hotel.
After breakfast start the journey to Kanyakumari, more popular as a place of spiritual retreat. Hence, start by visiting the temple, and listening to the many tales related to it. Apart from the Kanyakumari Temple, there are other temples, too, in the locality. Up next, take a ferry ride and visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where Swami Vivekananda used to meditate and achieve enlightenment. Close to Vivekananda Rock Memorial is the majestic statue of Thiruvalluvar. If you are planning to buy souvenirs, ornaments made of sea shells are very famous in Kanyakumari. Check-in at the hotel and take a rest.
After breakfast, you travel to another very beautiful and equally popular beach destination in Kerala. Kovalam is a coastal town located in the capital city of Trivandrum. Kovalam is famous for its crescent-shaped beaches, coconut groves running along the beach and mossy rocks that make their way into the waves. After reaching and freshening up, you can set out to do some beach hopping. If you are looking for a peaceful time, just chill at the beach or play with the waves. By afternoon, come to the main beach and visit the lighthouse. Atop, a breathtaking view of the sea and the city awaits you. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Trivandrum for your departure flight or onward journey.
